On your keyboard, press the Windows key and the X key together, select Device Manager. Stability is first and foremost for this computer since this computer needs to do one thing, and one thing only, reliably record hundreds of live concerts as my last laptop did. Manually download or re-install via Device Manager. ![]() Has anyone used a driver from either of these sources? I cant in fact confirm that the USB audio driver will actually support the MiniDAC. I am of course a bit weary of a random driver from an unknown source. Does anyone have any experience using the driver that can be had for $50.00, or the freeware how to driver: Obviously, I can use the SPDIF out to my apogee, but the standalone DAC into the computer via USB is super convenient. ![]() For now I will be using my card bus slot to a Digiface to record, and would like to use my Apogee MiniDAC for playback when I don't want to lug my rack around. I have recently upgraded my 10 plus year old HP 17' Pavilion to a brand new HP 17' ZBook running Windows 7 professional 64bit. ![]()
